about

Upon inheriting my father's 20 year old Minolta 35mm film camera, I became passionate with photography.  During my studies in high school and college, I became intrigued and excited about the process of photography; everything from capturing the image to developing and printing the final outcome.  At that time, it was still dark rooms, red lights, negative processing, enlarging and water baths.

A few years after graduating from the University of Miami with Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Studio Art, I acquired my first DSLR.  Though post-production has shifted largely from the darkroom to the computer, the principles and artistry of photography remain the same.

With a focus on landscape, nature and architectural photography  I strive to capture scenes in the most natural way possible and with minimal interference and with subtle post-production techniques.  On occasion, however, there are instances that call for something extra to capture the mood, atmosphere or to convey something from seemingly nothing.

My hope is that the images speak for themselves and are a delight to the viewers.  Welcome and enjoy!
